good diet to lose belly fat?
im 14 (a girl) and i have a flat stomach but i have a bit of fat on it and my love handles are starting to show ( there not very big, there just a bit of extra fat i would like to get rid of ). Im going to start running for one hour everyday after march break and i have already started cutting all the sugar out from my diet. Ive switched to all whole grain breads, and have stopped drinking juice . All i drink now is water and milk. This is what i would typically eat throughout the day :
Breakfast – Bowl of shredded wheat, plain. (100% whole grain) with milk.
lunch:Whole wheat chicken wrap with blueberries and a bottle of water.
after school snack: Apple, grapes, whole grain crackers with a water bottle.
Dinner: Salad filled with veggies and olive oil and balsamic vinegar with a lean cut of meat. Veggies or some type of grain product or starches. ( whole grain rice, or potatoes). And a glass of milk.
snack: Strawberry’s, or 1 stalk of celery w. peanut butter. With water or milk.
on the weekends i eat oatmeal with a fruit salad, or eggs and pemeal bacon with freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast. If i did this for a month, would i be able to lose the belly fat? How long would it take me? Im trying to get this done before summer!
ive been doing this for a week now/: but i cheated yesterday and ate one peice of candy but i don’t think it wil affect me?
jasmin, im going to be running everyday until september which is when cross country starts. I want to do cross country but im starting the training early so i can lose my belly fat before summer.
Although it’s good having a healthy diet, it won’t help you with your "belly fat". If it really is a you describe it, that diet may just make you loose weight and you’ll end up with more "belly fat". Try doing exercises that work out your abdominal muscles, also cardio vascular exercises.
How can I get rid of belly fat?
I am a 34-year old female, 5′4" and 112 lb. I had one child 6 years ago. Most of my body is slender, but I have collected a lot of belly fat. I ride horses several times a week and jog and ride a bike once or twice a week. The belly fat is so stubborn and will not go away. Hey, I think we have just about the same problem! I have strong abs to. Your abs will make your fat buldge more I learned. I am doing lots of cardio to lose my fat, and eating healthy. Cardio like running and riding my bike and swimming. My Wii fit helped me really really well! So that’s somethings you can consider. Hope this helped!

You will not "burn it off" by doing abs exercises alone. You will need to use some sort of cardio (I recommend HIIT, look it up on youtube).
Abdominal definition is seen from a combination of a low body fat percentage and having large muscles which are grown through protein and weight lifting.
You also need to watch what you eat and establish a calorie defficiency in your diet. Look up your maintanance calories and subtract by 500 calories.

I heard that both those are pretty crappy. If you need something in your home so you can watch the kids, i would invest in a stationary bike or a treadmill. Youll get more fat loss from these things. Because as you know, targeted weight loss is impossible. If you want to loose fat on your stomach, you just have to decrease your GENERAL body fat percentage. You do this by burning calories everyday. Both those ab things will develop the muscle, but it will be covered with a lump of fat and it wont even matter.
TRUST ME, youll see soooo many more results from a treadmill. Running works your arms and abs too, which lots of ppl dont know.

Does doing sit-ups and cardio only help to grow muscle under your layer of fat? How do I get rid of belly fat?
