How can I get a flat stomach and lose muffin tops? Nothing seems to work.?
So since I quit dance at the beginning of this year, I’ve gotten kinda bigger including my stomach and hips. I’ve tried doing different stomach and hip excercies, but they’re not working. It seems like the my stomach is like muscley fat and a little more fat-ish getting closer to my sides.

The best foods to eat would definitely be vegetables (carrots and celery are very very good), fruits (apples and berries are very good too, both speed the metabolism, as well as celery and carrots do. but try not to live off ONLY fruits. they are good, good for you and they taste sweet, but they due to tend to have a high sugar content in them), low-fat dairies (good for vitamins, calcium and protein, but most are so high in fat, so keep the intake to a minimum) whole wheat products and lean sources of protein (such as eggs, turkey, chicken, fish, nuts, lentils, chick peas, and beans). Drink 2 – 3 liters of water daily, and I’d recommend some green tea (natural, with no sugar). Try to avoid sugary, fattening foods, diet/regular soda, fruit juices, fast food, white bread products and red meats. Also, make sure you eat just about 6 meals a day instead of 3. Make them small and healthy. Foods high in fiber are good too, because they fill you up with less food.
The best thing for exercise is cardio. It burns alot of calories and fat. I’d do 45 minutes of cardio every other day, and on the days you don’t do cardio, do strength training to build muscle, which also burns fat.
Here are some cardio exercises to do:
Swimming
Jogging
Power Walking
Walking/Running On A Treadmill
Bicycling, rather on a normal bike or an exercise bike
Jump Rope
Running In Place
Stair walking
Oblique Twists
High Knees
Butt Kicks
Dancing, rather just a dance routine or DDR, is also a good way to burn fat and calories, if you move enough. Barely swaying your hips and moving your feet a little won’t do it! Blast that dance music and dance that booty off!!
Toning the muscles with pilates, crunches, sit ups and leg lifts will also help burn the fat and give you a nice tone look. Pilates and crunches have many different varieties that work different muscles. So find at least 5 types of both exercises that you like and don’t forget to mix up the routine after about 2 weeks. Add more reps, do new moves, exercise longer, run faster, run farther. Whatever you can do to mix it up!!
Always stay away from fad diet and diet products because they do NOT work at all!

Guys who thinks muffin tops are ridiculous?
C’mon I think most of us can agree muffin tops are unattractive and they can be avoided. So why do people do it? They make different sizes for a reason. So who on here thinks they are disgusting and ridiculous?
I’m totally with you. I absolutely refuse to get a smaller size just because I can squeeze in and pretend a size too small fits, because people can tell if they’re too tight. It’s way worse to wear a 3 and have muffin tops, as opposed to a 5 and look good.
If i run 20 miles everyday, will i lose my muffin tops in a week?
I have worked up my running length to 20 miles and have started to eat VERY healthy. I have muffin tops,but they are not that bad. They come out about an inch of of my waist. Do you think I could get rid of them in about a week because thats when school starts!
if you can run 20 miles, you shouldnt be very fat… have you tried buying a larger pair of pants?

How to get rid of muffin tops?
Ok well I’m 16 and I have muffin tops I’m now currently a junior and I had these since
8th grade I’m kinda skinny but not much I just need something that’ll really help me i also want to lose weight and my cellulite
I have an eliptical two 8lb dumbbells a pool and two acres for my backyard
just exercise and eat healthy. dont starve yourself… drink a lot of water and eat a lot of fruits and veggies, and cutting back on the dark meat and fatty junk food helps a lot too. dont do crunches.just try a lot of cardio (swimming and the elliptical are VERY good.)… hope that helps (: if not, just ask your doctor.
