What is a good way to get rid of belly fat?
I have been building muscle in my stomach, i can tell, but the belly fat is still on top of the muscle and thats what i’m trying to get rid of.

keep doing those exercise but on top of that either run, swim or bike. That way you can lose the top layer of fat.

yeah you cant pick a certain area to lose fat from. its good that youre doing the toning, so when you lose the fat you will look great. you have to do cardio exercise to burn fat, and it will come off your stomach as well as other areas of your body. unfortunately you cant pick areas. but do at least 30 minutes of cardio (like running, treadmill, swimming laps, etc) at least 3 times a week and youll start seeing results

thats because by doing sit ups and crunches you only build muscle, you dont burn fat that way. and it makes your belly look bigger since there is more muscle underneath the layer of fat.
cardio is the only exercise that burns fat – 4-6 times a week for 30-50min combined with light weight training.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast – they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner – repairs muscle
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

just do a little bit of cardio every day…. such as running up the stairs 50 times a day or even just doing 10 minutes of brisk walking a day: dont walk to fast if you cant hold a conversation easily you are walking to fast.
