And yes you can lose fat and gain muscle at the same time. If you are in the correct energy balance, you will lose fat while you are causing your muscles to tear, and consequently, build themselves back up. Building muscle is not like building a model, when you put the proteins together they get big, its all about injuring your muscles to the point that they become stronger and more efficient, and you CAN accomplish that while the body is losing weight.

Not necessarily, when you work out the calories that you are burning do not necessarily come from excess fat on the body, many times the body will use stored muscle tissue to feed the energy need because protein is easier to burn than fat, you lose fat when you are in the right balance, if you leave your house for the gym absolutely starving, the body will use muscle tissue before it uses fat because it will be easier to convert, if you leave with a light carb/protein meal it will be different.

your straying from your initial argument… Yes, you should do cardio while bulking to minimize fat gain..you can not however “burn fat” while gaining lean mass.. which is what you said in your first post..it is very difficult and requires extreme supplementation and dieting, stop talking about it, you sound stupid.

when you do carido yes you are corrct calories are burned but that excess fat that you have is burned off as a source of fuel for your body.
I know all that about the microscopic tears, though im not quite sure non of my friends believe me that that is how your muscles break down/rebuild.

No its not, doing cardio and weight training burn calories. They do not make you lose weight. The body loses weight when you are in a negative energy balance, from eating less calories than your body is burning. Cardio focuses heavily on burning calories while weight training focuses on causing microscopic tears in muscle tissue causing the muscles to repair themselves and get stronger/bigger. Get your facts straight.

Sure there is. By building mass the body(muscles in genereal) require more energy when they are bigger so they will burn more calories = burning fat when combined with the right diet. But i know what you are trying to say, it’s very difficult to get both on an even playing feild.
