1. What type and amount of training do you do per week?

For me it was the fact that Full Body exercises actually burn the fat by raising your Resting Metabolic Rate. By breaking down muscle fibre, the repair of the muscle increases your metabolism longer than aerobic exercise for example. Both aerobic and anaerobic are necessarily (don’t get me wrong)

    Simply, aerobic exercises (running, swimming, cycling) raises the resting metabolic rate for a couple of hours after exercise, whereas anaerobic exercises (resistant weight training) keeps your resting metabolic rate up closer to around 24 hours due to the repairing of muscle tissue after weight training.

    You are probably in the top percentile of burning more calories than you consume, therefore you have no problems being fit and in shape. But, for the majority of the population, most are not as active and consume more cals than they burn. I do know if you eat non-processed foods (veggies, fruit, white meat) and stay away from products with processed sugar, then you would probably would not experience the insulin spikes after eating processed foods high in fat.

    You are almost right. When you begin to run you will lose weight fast at first, when running becomes a habit then it takes more and more to keep your heart rate up, thus harder to burn calories, You already have abs and don’t have to do any crunches to see them, simply get your body fat down. If you want your abs to be larger than work them out, but as I said everyone already has them waiting to be revealed. I really doubt you even can see your abs, so you should probably get the book as well.

    If you want to burn off fat effectively, then do full body exercises to raise your resting metabolic rate (RMR) in addition to your situps or aerobic exercise. Also record what you eat (calorie counting) and make sure you consume less calories than you burn.

    You will only get so far with that approach. If you truly want to get a cut body where the muscles are well defined, then you have to look at full body exercise, nutrition and diet. If you do 3 sets of back pin crunches alternating with crunch pulses, then go out and eat a Big Mac, then you are going backwards in your training.
